*OT* Oh yeah, the Science of Hitting. Still have my own copy somewhere, along with a letter I got from Williams when I wrote to him about it as a kid. He must have responded with a three-page single-spaced letter. Not kidding.

And I think Hornsby battered .400 over a five-year period, as I recall. One of the very best.
