Read them if you wish. fuctbydevry >http://nothingtosay.com/fuctbydevry members.tripod.com i didn't know that the ontario campus was nailed for loan fraud. that is pretty fukin serious. i am a full cash student (because devry fuked my paperwork up so my times) and i just received a letter saying "The Student Finance Office has been informed that you wish to apply for financial aid for the year 2002/2003 award year. However, we cannot continue to process your financial aid without the following information." (they wanted they ISIR which is the equivelant to the FAFSA) i never turned any paperwork in to them or the government for loans for a reason: i am a full cash student. i have not received any financial aid from them and i have been aproved for loans? fukin weird? yeah, i thought so too (well not AS weird since i received your email). i received a letter of the same nature from them last year as well. i spoke with the student finance office and they said that they couldn't give me any contact information for the agencies issuing the loans to verify that i don't ow e them anything. i know, its very shadey. i am starting to worry that they have been receiving loan checks and not telling me about it. many disgruntled students and i have many complaints about devry and that is why i started the site. we need a place to release our frustrations. it is also designed for other students to realize that they are not alone when it comes to dealing with these idiot administrators. in addition to all of that, it is a place to reflect on those frustrations. usually after your own editorial, you can pin-point the cause and a possible solution to those frustrations (but then again maybe not;) oh well, were trying. one last thing, since you seem to know some about the law surrounding devry's operations: could our site be seen as defamation to devry's name-space? we are attemting to keep admin and professor names from being named and that is why we don't have a user driven format just yet. we want to control the amount of slander dumped onto the site. but by doing so, we may be taking the burden/liability for posting the information ourselves. if you could clue us in we would appreciate that as well. These are from students in the United States who are unhappy with devrys attitude towards them. I have been out of the business for almost 4 years they have only 2 years to bring an action forward and that time is long gon.Since I have no desire to ever go back.They are pretty much powerless to do any more damage, but the toll these actions took on me were enormous. However I was so relieved that evn in a kangaroo court system of the NASD, I miraculously came upon 6 of the most Honest people who work for the NASD and to these 6 people i owe a mountain of Gratititude.. Once again, Thank You Hearing Panel !!! tony
