I have seen this happen in the Telecommunications Sector where TA spiked yet its corresponding index still went up the next day or two but then came crashing back down and the TA followed it back down.

For Rydex BKX TA spike, as I noted last night it was an albatross I was extremely uneasy about.

Let's see what the close brings.
