A bunch of folks have jumped ship at Sun recently, wonder what the problem is? 08:32 ET Sun Microsystems COO to retire (SUNW) 8.18: -- Update -- Announces that after more than 15 yrs of service, COO Ed Zander plans to retire from full time duties. Effective July 1, 2002, Zander will hand over his full-time duties to Scott McNealy. He will then assist McNealy with the transition and begin a teaching and mentoring role at Sun for the balance of the calendar year. The company does not intend to name a replacement for Zander.
