Anybody that says that Zander was "perceived as a negative by the SUNW board" is...let's see, how can I put this in an appropriately diplomatic fashion...how bout 'not deserving of a high degree of credibility'. Zander was the iron man in that management team. He was the tent-pole. I suspect that twister is right, Zander was sick of the whole thing after 15 years and has hung around this long ONLY because McNealy is his friend. McNealy is a good manager and very quotable, but Zander, with all his quirks, has few peers as an operations guy. Do some more gibbering, TB. Maybe you should call your friends on the SUNW board and get the inside scoop. --QS
