EBITDA? Just think of earnings. Earnings is all that counts. EBITDA means Earnings before interest taxes depreciation and amortization

Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA)
"An earnings based measure that, for many, serves as a surrogate for cash flow. Actually consists of working capital provided by operations before interest and taxes."

From THE FINANCIAL NUMBERS GAME by Charles W. Mulford and Eugene E. Comiskey.

FWIW Standard & Poors uses a cash-flow analysis and they have a buy rating on the stock.
