A close above 7.25 should be a short term breakout, we could run to 9.00......But remember as usual the SOBs, (whoever they are) will let the May 7.50 options go out worthless.

Digital cable growth was also strong. They really had excellent results all around, and other parts of the report are worth perusing too:

Brian L. Roberts, president of Comcast Corporation said, "We delivered another quarter of outstanding operating and financial results, laying the groundwork to comfortably meet our previously stated year-end 2002 guidance for each of our businesses."

"The cable division reported one of its best quarters ever, accelerating revenue and operating cash flow growth and delivering new digital and high- speed Internet customers, even as we completed the huge task of transitioning almost one million customers to our new high-speed Internet service. We are more excited than ever about the opportunities for growth in the cable business and look forward to completing our merger with AT&T Broadband. We believe our strong track record of operating performance, successful system integration and balance sheet strength will help support accelerated growth rates and provide a whole new range of opportunities for the new company."

Looks like Cramer is pretty worked up about it over at Street.com, after tuning into the Comcast conference call:

"Here's one to look for, Video on Demand is about to get very hot, i mean it. Looks like CMCSK is going to offer this in size...and a big bunch of deals will be announced later this week with studios!! Big heads up.
CMCSK"

Note CCUR is pushing to new post-ER highs, even on this down market day...
