I am not sure that a particularly crushing defeat will offset the damage that has already been germinated all over Europe as a result of his ousting Jospin from the race. What do you think?

You may also be interested in knowing that the New York Jewish leadership is disenchanted with the New York Times. There is a moevment to boycott the paper and to have the local business community stop advertising.
The complaint is similar to your feelings regarding Pakistan and the Musharak government.
