I have no objection to trying to get decent data on sexual topics, and you may be right that Kinsey did his best with limited resources. I wonder, though, whether a zoologist was best fitted to gather social scientific data and make sense of it. And I wonder at some of his claims, for example, about the pre- pubescent frequency of orgasm. How in the world could he gather valid data on that?
