What does this Reisman woman have to do with anything? How does bringing her into the discussion change the fact Kinsey interviewed a disproportionate number of men who were in prison and mental institutions? Not exactly an accurate sampling of your average American male....

My sense is that while Kinsey did indeed compile a massive and impressive amount of data (regardless of its sample population) and that the publication of his study did have reverberations throughout our society, his conclusions were flawed––due in large part to his skewed sample and his personal predilections, biases, agenda . I'm not that familiar with Reisman, but she seems to present a pretty effective argument based on the quote Neo referenced. Unless there is evidence that she misrepresented the facts in this specific rebuttal, I find any discreditation relating to any other realm of her work or person irrelevant.
