heatsinker2 - I don't think I said that AMD was making money, I said that Intel was unable to put AMD in difficulty.

Oh...AMD is losing money in four straight quarters - missing product launch dates - losing the performance advantages (quote Jerry Sanders) - and AMD is not in any difficulty.
I guess that explains AMD's soaring stock price.

heatsinker2 Re...In the middle of a semiconductor recession, AMD is experiencing minor losses, no big deal. Did you notice how AMD moved up 4 places (iirc) in the standings of semiconductor companies. Intel is putting the hammer down, eh? <<<<<

When one considers AOL- time warner just posted a 50 billion dollar loss ,(Just think how upset my bank would have been with me if I had posted 1/1000 of that.); 10 million doesn't seem all that big.
