I'm not an expert,but I don't believe that funds with a guaranteed return would typically be invested in "the stock market". More likely they'd go into bonds (highly rated)

You will see. Both 1933 AND 1974 ended up that way.


well...1933 was 4 years after 1929 crash...

nasdaq crashed in 2000....2000 + 4 = 2004....
