OK. But if that isn't harassment, just what is? I know YYB was not amused by CH's accusations. And she got less than Poet did. Nor, for that matter, was E when he made them against her. stirring up a gang of people comes close Actually the gang of people stirred themselves up. SHe could never have intentionally brought about what happened. Remember, there used to be hard left-right lines and almost no crossing. And CH, JLA, myself, and numerous others were all on the same side. An attack by her on one of us (such as CH) would have been viewed as an attack on all. The same as an attack on you was viewed as an attack on all the lefties His problem was that he himself acted so badly that he came to be viewed as a bully.

Remember that thread rule I cited? It appeared to me that you absolutely were in violation of it. Period. If you don't like the rules under which a thread operates, then stay off the thread. You were have no grounds for complaint if you violate them and then are warned or banned. And your opinion of what is or is not harassment is irrelevant in that regard.

If this is directed at my effort to stop one poster from stalking and harassing Poet, then you might just stop to consider for a minute just how silly that is. Poet and are are not allies, never have been, and I don't think it would have ever occurred to her to try to stir the pot with me. She would have been right too. But there is some on-line behavior which goes beyond the political or humorous or even personal invective, all of which I agree with you, should not be limited by gag orders and the like. That line was crossed, IMO. I think the recent postings of the PMs from the poster involved to Laz makes that all the more crystal clear. You, of course, as is your right, may continue to stick your head in the sand on the issue. That is my opinion... JLA

jewel's case, which I found to be more important as far as I am concrened, wasn't harassment either. We're all well aware that you never consider anything you do to be harassment. I think it trivializes true harassment to construe anything that might happen to an alias on an internet site with words to harassment, unless it is 1.physically threatening 2.obscene or 3. demanding some sort of 3d action. Then why have you seemingly gone into screaming rages about posts so many times? Faking it? Remember this one? Message 16903518 certainly It is not 1.physically threatening 2.obscene or 3. demanding some sort of 3d action. Yet I got this SCREAMING MAD ALL-CAPS PM from you about "DON'T POST TO ME! DON'T PM ME! DON'T EVEN MENTION ME!" So why was that if it didn't bother you? I guess harassment is only what's done to YOU but never what YOU do.
