Jim - And this is a good thing for Intel? Microsoft is losing money on every X-box (supposedly)

Why do you think Microsoft is losing money?
Because they sell the XBOX for less than it costs them to buy components and build them.
Intel's Pentium 3 is cheap to make - and when Intel reaches the 90 nM node, Pentium 4/Prescott will be cheap.
And so will the graphics chip set.
Volume begets lower costs, Jim.
