The select fund strength rating is usually posted on Wednesday night.

The strength rating represents an estimate of the fund's current strength. It is not a prediction of the fund's future strength.

There are three classes: strong, neutral, or weak.

* Strong:
If a select fund remains Strong for 52 weeks, the fund shall have +20% annual return or better.

* Neutral:
If a select fund remains Neutral for 52 weeks, the fund shall have an annual return between -10% to +20%.

* Weak:
If a select fund remains Weak for 52 weeks, the fund shall have -10% annual return or worse.

How to use the strength rating:

Basic Rules:
1. Stay with strong funds
2. Avoid the weak funds

See the Trend:
1. Compare this week's list with last week's list
2. And the list two weeks ago
3. And the list three weeks ago
4. And the list four weeks ago

Be Careful with the Bottom Funds:
1. The inertia will keep the bottom funds low
2. If there are outside forces to push the bottom funds up, the funds may move up
3. Identify the outside forces before bottom fishing
