www4.gartner.com On 26 April 2002, Gartner released the results of a survey on mobile and wireless markets. In March 2002, Gartner and SoundView Technology Group surveyed 122 IT and business managers from Canada and the United States: 17 percent of respondents said that in 2002, their enterprises will increase mobile and wireless spending by more than 10 percent from 2001. 42 percent said they would spend 11 percent to 20 percent on top of their wireless voice budgets for data services.
