Ojos,

RE: "As if it wasn't bad enough that all of Islam hates them, now there are going to be a lot of upset Christians."

All of Islam doesn't hate the Palestinains......... and I'm sure many of the Christian faith will not blame the Palestinians for the fire started by the Palestinians too.... IF indeed they started the fire........

Palestinians?
I think you misunderstood who I meant as "them".

From your article:
Israeli soldiers were firing flares and throwing smoke bombs, witnesses said.

The Israelis = Them.

You assume too much........

I'm not the only one... <g>

...I was merely pointing out how Israel isn't gaining many popularity points. Their list of friends might begin to feel even smaller.

The rest of your post seems to naively forget that history is replete with genocide, massacres & unspeakable attrocities in the name of (insert your supreme being's name here). No doubt God (or whatever supreme being one chooses to belive or not believe in) often weeps at how cruel, manipulative & exploitive man can be in his quest to be right or to have dominion over others. Sooner or later he will decide it's time for a change..... as history shows mere mortals repeat themselves in abusing the name of (insert your supreme being's name here) to be right or hold dominion over others.

I think I agree with what you are saying.
Perhaps I was naive in thinking I had to say the obvious.
I thought it was understood and blanketed by my statement:

I begin to wonder at what point has man's own beliefs
taken control of and destroyed what started out as a good
intention...

If there's some supreme being that over sees all of us,
does he want us to kill those that don't worship every word
that someone else puts into his mouth?

The Crusades were a good example...

I think you sort of hit upon a similar point as I.

Westy, not every reply I make to you is an argument.
I don't assume yours are either.

-Confusedcious

P.S. Next time let's argue over something we disagree about... <g>
