AJ what about the Trin indicates to you we have a short term bottom in. Even the rally seemed weak when it is all said and done.I guess if we hold the 1670 area tomorrow morning we have a shot at retesting 1696. If that gets taken out then 1725, but the market just seems so weak. What gives you confidence in the short term bottom. Thanks.

The daily stick today is an indicator of a local bottom that should hold for the next several days

OOPS

Max pain slipped another half notch today in spite of very very heavy put buying.
Not quite sure how.
We back to 33 32 34 with not much to choose but 32 replace 34 as second choice

Now look at CSCO - out of the blue (although I do not see it on daily volume) and additional 30K strike 15 calls were bought, which makes it increasing unlikely that CSCO can get to 15 by expiry. figures are approx 80K vs 47K

I bet we see more and more CSCO optimism as we approach CSCO report date. THERE IS NO FLOOR ON CSCO if max pain does not hold at 15.
