You have too much right-wing rage to analyze this story objectively. It's easy now ... after 9-11 ... to say we should have done this or that five or fifteen years ago.

That's like saying we should have sent a "hit squad" to assassinate Hitler in 1934.

Let's suppose that we did send the commandos aboard the ship, that the bad guy wasn't on board, and that 10 crew members and three of our guys were killed in a firefight. Not so good, is it?

Or let's suppose that we don't find the terrorist on board, so we take over the ship and steer it to the nearest friendly port, where the crew is thrown into the hoosegow.

Sounds like what happened to the Mayaguez in the mid '70s, doesn't it?

Think this through a little bit, Pro. These are tough decisions with serious implications, not some stupid, dumb-ass Bruce Willis movie. To insinuate that Clinton said yes or no on this one on the basis of polling is absurd.
