CSFB cuts estimates for Inktomi following AOL loss (INKT, AOL) by Tomi Kilgore
Analyst Todd Raker at CS First Boston lowered his revenue and raised his loss forecasts for Inktomi (INKT), due to the loss of America Online, the Internet arm of AOL Time Warner (AOL), as a customer. Raker noted in a midday research note to clients that AOL represented 10 percent of Inktomi's revenue in its latest quarter. Inktomi shares are sliding 52 cents, or 22 percent, to $1.80. Earlier, AOL announced a multi-year agreement with Internet search engine Google.
