one more test of those levels and chances are good they fail...as support is wont to do in a downtrend, on a 3rd test.

I agree with you (I think ?) but if another big cap company takes-the-count then I think its possible we could see something close to the panic that took place following 9/11. That was such a fearful time for us as a Nation that we're different thinkers as far a risk taking with ones $$$ goes. Look at the consumers, they are price-tag shopping and thats true as well in the stock market. So where does that leave us equity holders ? Are we foolish to think we're going to net a gain much more than 6% ????

I don't think we will see Sept lows on the averages, but there is no support between there and here. So a new level will be found which will provide a base to move higher. I like to use the saying that bases are built on time not price. So we need time to build a new base (I say at least two weeks to build a decent base)
