jj, I just said the candle yesterday seemed to indicate a local bottom, as the long shadow below re-tested the level and was repulsed quite strongly.

I'd say the top may be capped at 1725-1744 and the bottom at 1640. We still have some time to base and maybe make one more thrust up to take out COMP 1697. Maybe we may have to wait a few more days for that to happen.

I think we may have tests like a higher low and a lower high to narrow the trading range.

The VIX hit the middle BB yesterday. It will either drop to the lower BB or seek out the upper BB. I'm thinking it may work towards the lower BB, as the VXN hasn't hit the upper BB. That would indicate lower volatility and would also seem to validate the narrow trading range thing.
