I just sent a PM to someone expressing the same thing. A major trend like this can't end in a whimper, we need a capitulation bottom to start with a clean slate. Since I am short, I am doing ok. But it is hard to get too celebratory when I know that so many other people are getting hurt. I posted quite a bit about the VIX levels in the past couple of months. A lot of people dismissed the VIX, but I think that it is important that we don't forget that complacency is not a bullish indication.
