do you think that the bottom is in for techs?

I still see a lot of excesses in techland.....and it is where I work.

I would love nothing more than to be totally wrong about this, but I just don't see it as time to be buying tech stocks. But you are right, it does sound like he sold closer to the bottom....

One of the things that I believe has happened is that people have been buying the cheap washed out stocks like WCOM at 15 and VRSN at 23 because they don't believe that they can get knocked down any further. I believe that is why the small and mid cap stocks have been strong while the big caps have been weaker. People are feeling safe in stocks that are cheap relative to their price a year ago. The logic being "my JDSU is at $4.00, it can't go any lower". But I think that they are wrong. Most people have no idea what is really going on with these companies. JDSU is supposed to be the hot shit with their optics, but nobody is talking about them not being able to deliver reliable product.

One more washout....then I will start going long, just one more washout.
