fyodor - Profits, disregarding employees, is the ultimate measure of long term efficiency.

You seem to be in the minority. The rest of the AMD devotees seem to make up their own special "imaginary number" and call AMD superior - despite the fact that AMD is losing money.

And, if you want, we can start discussing what "profits" AMD and Intel have actually produced ;-)

As both AMD and Intel use the same auditors, I should think that their auditors concur with their respective reportings - AMD loses money, and Intel generates a profit, as per Ernst and Young.
