Ownership of shares = ownership of a part of a business.

If you owned 100% of a company and your wholly owned company did business in country X, you are doing business in country X through your company. Agreed? Now what is the difference if you own 1%?

In degree (of ownership) there is a difference. In substance, no difference. Conclusion: Len Grasso simultaneously urges people to boycott Israel, while doing business there (at least a little bit) indirectly through the companies he invests his capital in.

BTW, I don't care where you or the companies you own a share of do business. Just want to point out the hypocrisy in your position.
