One last time. One final question.
If you read your article. What percentage of people do you think might be lead to possibly think that the Isrealies possibly caused the fire during:

Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity was on fire early Thursday during a fierce exchange of gunfire between Israeli troops and Palestinian gunmen holed up inside.

Israeli soldiers were firing flares and throwing smoke bombs, witnesses said.

Flames leaped out of three rooms at the compound. Exchanges of gunfire could be heard outside, though it was not clear what set it off. Israeli soldiers lit up the sky with flares and threw stun grenades and smoke bombs.

If you think that less than 1% of the people reading this think that the Isrealis started the fire (by reading this article alone) then perhaps you are right. I just find it hard that 99% of the people forming opinions on this would think that it implies the Isrealies had nothing to do with it. Even though it's quite possible that the Palestinians set it! (Get it?) It was written with a slant.

Remember that all of this arguing is over my comment:

As if it wasn't bad enough that all of Islam hates them, now there are going to be a lot of upset Christians.

I don't feel that there was anything malicious, factually inaccurate, or anything else worthy of an argumentive reply.

The argumentive replies are what earned the silly name calling...

So take a look at all of it from the beginning and judge for yourself. If you think that this article did not have the ability to alienate anyone then I understand your argument.

I'm finished discussing this.

Anymore on this and I resort to fly swatters again...

Not meaning to offend. Just to clarify.

You see, I don't back down when I believe the facts support my POV. For some reason that tends to piss off a lot of people.

<To be read with a calm voice of explaination>

I think what bothers me is how you almost treat a
conversation filled with opinions as a trial.
You can't just let certain things go.
You have to scour the net looking for facts on something
that was said with a casual feeling or thought.

Not many of us dispute your facts.

It just seems that much of the fact finding is not
neccessary. We are just talking... No harm no foul. Just
B.S.ing inbetween our daily work or while relaxing.

It's not a trial.

It's also not always important to have a fact back up a
feeling.

If someone feels a certain way, they feel it.
It might be interpretted a certain way by others.
But it's all OK. It's just people talking or goofing off.

It's not all that serious.
Nothing to get all worked up over.

You and I appear to let things get under our skin and that is
probably why we buck heads so often.

Polvie one time pointed out in a manner that I understood
or realized upon myself that I probably dislike the part of
you that I dislike about myself.

So when I get angry at you for obsessing on certain things,
I probably hate myself for doing the same thing.

I often pick on my wife for things that she does that I
dislike about myself also. Anyway, at least now I have a
clue as to why certain things bother me so. I just have to
learn to accept them as is and move on.

I really don't wish to argue with you over everything.
The only reason I'm disclosing the above is to help prevent
the ugliness that comes from from it.

So this it my attempt to end this argument and hopefully
thwart off future ones in advance.

...next time I'm in a cranky mood I'll probably regret
this... <g> <ng>

Anyhow here: coromandelcuisine.co.nz

If we can do it, perhaps there's hope for the Palestinians
and the Israelies.
