That they managed to recruit Tularik and Incyte into their camp impressed me.
Given its recent management form, the recruitment of INCY is arguably not such a great achievement. <g>

More timelines...

Aug 1999 HGSI/CAT deal
Nov 1999 HGSI/ABGX "
Dec 1999 CRGN/ABGX "
Feb 2000 HGSI/CAT expanded collaboration

Can anything be inferred from the above ?
Did HGSI sideline ABGX and forge ahead with CAT because ABGX decided to go ahead with the major alliance with CRGN - or did ABGX go with CRGN because it was clear HGSI favoured CAT ?
(Or, is this just fruitless speculation ?)

Ice,

Appreciate the viewpoints. I know they've pointed out that it has been easier to get patient enrollment in Europe.

I do like the MEDX / TLRK deal (holder of both). TLRK's experience in the oncogene area should provide some decent targets.
