Brooke, interesting about the VIX. The pinched BB's on the weekly are suggesting a big move, and I can see only higher VIX numbers based on the current trend. stockcharts.com[h,a]waclyiay[pd20,2][vc60][iLb14!Lh14,3!La12,26,9]&pref=G That monthly chart also looks quite bad going forward.

...SOX... I've looked at the lows going back to early 94. (That's the farthest two charting systems I have go.) I'm able to draw a pretty good uptrend line from early 94, along the bottom edge of the 96 and 98 lows. If this uptrend line stays intact...we should see a low of about 300 soon.....Throw in the 95 high you mentioned and we have two basis of support at ~300... sound valid? Hope that doesn't sound too obviously basic... BirdDog@Prairie.com
