I'm selling some June 7.5 puts if I can...we'll see what I can get.
My belief is that the whole market is overdone. I was looking at long term trends just now. This market (1998-2002) behavior isn't too dissimilar from the behavior of 1970 to 1975. The percentage drops from the peak then were about the same as those today. But 1975 also represented the year the market began its long slow climb to where it is today.
In the last 3 consecutive 20 year periods, there has only been one period (1962-1982) when the market didn't increase by about 10 fold. Yet that period still had a pretty substantial increase.
