I missed that game. I was watching some of the Detroit Redwings against the St. Louis Blues game.

The announcer said he over heard a conversation Brett Howe was having with a reporter.
This was after the announcer set of the story as Brett being one of those rare players who speaks his mind, is very open and honest for the most part, and has a great sense of humor.

The roeter asked the former St. Louis Player, "Do you think The Blues were a better team when you played with them or are they better now?"

Howe replied with a smile, "Come on. How could they be better now? I don't play with them any more..."

The reporters all got a big laugh.

As much as I dislike the superstar Red Wings I can't help but like Howe.

Good luck to your Sharks.

You are the only one in the NNBM who still has a team left standing.

Bruins... Gone!
Canucks... Gone!
Islanders... Gone!
Albuquerque Turkeys... Never even made it into the league...

Yeah, I've been pulling for them, but haven't been going out of my way to watch. I'm with Rosie; I'd rather watch football or baseball than hockey or soccer.

Watch out for those pearly white teeth. Da shark gonna bite Roy again.

I like San Jose - they have a superb transition game and some great team speed. Now that the Bruins cratered I am starting to follow some other teams. Sharks look good. Detroit still looks very tough all around per player.
