Isn't Sledge 1Q ahead of schedule.

How about a year and a half late?

milo:

"Isn't Sledge 1Q ahead of schedule. Claw was following these timelines"

That's impossible...AMD has redirected all its resources in attempt to correct its devastating yield problems at Dresden repeated ad nauseum by the self professed mother of all cpu yield gurus in our very midst while the market is steeped in those world class yielding NW's flying out of those 14 fabs that are required to produce 4 times as many cpus as AMD...(mind you , it is argued by this same self proclaimed cpu guru, that there is not enuf info to dispel the notion of world class INTC yields but ample evidence to suggest devastatingly low AMD yields)...who's "fool"ing who???

If that schedule still holds, it definitely is. But one of those slide seemed to show flash growth that was Pre-napster-shutdown.

AMD is looking good if flash has any kind of a recovery at all this year. I'm hearing more about MP3 players in cars, lately. If (IF!) that concept takes off, then AMD (and Intel) are going to do well. AMD is far more leveraged for flash - FASL will increase its capacity by about 6-8 times this year (JV3 & Austin added, plus denser circuits). A couple of minor players were close to exiting the flash market this year, which could see Intel/AMD/Fujitsu splitting 3/4 of this growing market instead of half of it.

We can hope!
