Why should anyone buy jdsu when insiders have a plan to sell at these levels?

Yes - jdsu more than any other company looks like the mgmt really burned investors imo. I looked into them recently (never owned them in the bubble) and I couldn't believe that the CTO recently exercised options granted at 2.5 - at 5!! Netting, like 100K or so- give me a break! JDSU options are so worthless to the cto he's willing to take a $2.50 gain and get out.

I was ok with executives "selling at the lows" in 2001 because 1) we weren't really that low then - execs were still netting 10-baggers for their sweat equity, and 2) other stocks seemed so cheap at the time a case could have been made for diversification. I can see Tom Siebel selling some at 25 to buy, say a telecom portfolio. But looking at jdsu and itwo- exercising options for $1-2 get real.
