The 1550 area is the next area of congestion -- but not a big area. I'd be interested to hear what Larry has to say on the issue of valuation at this point.

The ratio of down volume to up volume for the Naz has been slightly over 3 to 1 today (and a dismal 6 to 1 yesterday). For issues, it's been 1.7 to 1. The volume can be revealing. That's why Monty looks at a volume McClellan as well as the issues McClellan. The vol. numbers are often quicker to signal, and they tend to give a more accurate picture. People have been discussing the adv./declines on this thread in support of a new bull market. I wonder whether they've looked at the adv./decl. volume.

I suppose you saw that AJC was on CNBC yesterday. One of the few reliable indicators (contrary) in this market. A market that's easily spooked, it seems.
