GV "They'll need things like plumbing in their homes and telephones before they need computers"

You haven't visited China lately? They have computers in some villages but no plumbing. Electricity is acheieved through older generators and Internet access through satellite downlinks. They have mobile phones, but no phone books either.

GV: It is great that the kid and other CEOs are minting money. Some of the people here and some of the employees of these peoples companies are riding their coat tails. Simultaneously there are huge disparity is forming between haves and havenots. Some of these are caused by structural defeciencies in our societies.
One such is the executive compensation. The other is access to easy money.
US is the best structured company and addresses a lot of structural problems in the world. What is needed from all of us is to pay more attention things that can even be made better.
