michael97123, Re: Will the rally happen in our lifetime?
Depends on how old you are. You should be O.K. However, for people like Gottfried and myself I'm not sure.<g>

I think we test 1400 on the NAS before the real rally starts. Maybe June and a re-test in the fall. No rush to load up on semis yet although I have been buying a bit of JDSU for the long term.

>>Will the rally happen in our lifetime?<<

The problem is that everybody thinks that sometime down the road the market will come back, will it ? Look at Japan, I know thats comparing apples and oranges and their problem are different then ours. However, continued deterioration in prices of big company stocks(WCOM, SUNW, JDSU, ect.) may in itself hamper future growth by restricting capital available to them. Addtionaly, the deterioration in confidence will have a long lasting effect. I'm not feeling very comfortable with the thought that will come back. Many companies are going to disappear and we can't even begin to measure the effects yet. JMHO
