They lead to the aristracies of Rockefeller, Mellon, Morgan, and similar barons. is preferable to a single choice thrust down the throat at bayonet point You always seem to thing that the only choices are at the extremes. There is no reason to equate disclosure and oversite with complete state control of business. The nearest thing we have to an honest broker between business transactions is the government, and that is only because it is answerable to the electorate and not because it is an inherently benevolent group.
