the market sold off hugely following the tragedy of 9/11. We do not yet know if that was a cataclysmatic bottom or not. but all bottoms have to be tested, and this may well be the test of it. the final flush? the strength of the nas vs the dow indicates to me that the real value in the market are in the more traditional business rather than the techs. someday the techs and nas will come back, and when it does, it will be a long sustained climb. it would be prudent to wait until there is real evidence of the new direction. trying to catch the bottom has certainly been a futile venture the past two years. larry
