Playing dumb?

Most of your favorite companies do business in Israel. You legally own a share of these companies (maybe only one millionth of the whole or something, but nevertheless a share). Therefore you are doing business there even if you don't do so directly.

Imagine Len Grasso starts his own corporation, Grasso Inc., and owns all the shares himself. He hires a manager to run it as well as a few other employees. The company does business in country X. Is Len Grasso truthful in saying, I don't do business in country X? Technically, in a strictly legal sense he is truthful. But morally, a different matter.
