Sam: Excellent article. There are also some simpler way looking at how managements take advantage of markets and shareholders.
SE (stockholders equity) is part of liabilities and stockholder's equity part of balance sheet. In the stockholders equity portion of this is treasury stock and real SE. In the last three years (I need to double check this figure) Dell has grown this by $3B while the kids equity value not including the cash he took out is over $7B.
Now tell me, where is the fair treatment of stockholders (other than the management) here?
