Bush will declare it a victory if he can get one public park in Kabul to be peaceful for a week. So far the anemic attempt at bringing any sort of stable government, much less a representative government, to Afganistan has been only a product of limited reporting from the area. We are on track to being exactly where we were a few years ago. Maybe if Bush can turn back the clock far enough the crusader artillery piece will be relevant again.
