Argh.

It was freezin'.
It was exciting for a couple of innings.
Lilly pitched like I remembered him pitching last year. Lousy.

I took some pictures with my digital camera. When I get a
chance I'll post them.

In the section where we were sitting, we were perhaps the only
Yankee fans. It seems that Ichiro Suzuki should be making
a heck of a lot more money. He alone was the reason why at
least a 2,000 seats were sold. I was in the section
between 1st base and the foul pole. Practically every seat
was filled by a Japanese person. Entire extended families
showed up. They were cheering for everything Ichiro did.

I think he was 3-4 or 4-5 in hitting. Being the right
fielder, he was right below us, so I guess that explains
why his cheering section formed there.

They were going nuts! They were really into the game.

We noticed after a while that the beer man didn't bother to
venture very far from our seats... It was not a good
night for business for him so we tried our best to make up
for it.
At $6.25 a beer, there was only so much we could afford to
help his cause.
$4.50 for a hot dog.

The hot dog man took in some good cash.
He was smart. A marketing genius wearing baggy pants and
fancy Adidas sneakers. He was constantly selling out.

His idea: "Hot dogs here! Get your official Yankee hot
dog served on a nice soft ICHI- ROLL!!!"

The Japanese were buying them like crazy. <g> <ng>

It got rather cold towards the later innings. More so as
the Mariners added a few extra runs.

We'll get 'em back today...

I think David Wells is on the hill.
