Then he must be lying or he hasn't seen much. I just built some charts based on TRIN to try and see what he was saying and in 1987, the TRIN was over 14 and over 12. There were numerous other circumstances where TRIN was much higher than here.

I agree with you, however when and if we get cap, it could be like that old expression, ""candy store opens"". Why buy now when the bottom could (temporarily) fall right out, what is the benefit of catching a falling axe? Do you remember the last time the market had capitulation and how the prices fell and snapped back? I thought I heard on nightly business Report last night , nas 12-1250 , dow support 8K ?
