EK, I had to take a urine test when I interviewed with First Onion Securities. I thought it was Mickey Mouse. But it wasn't the reason I didn't take their offer. Cocaine is rampant among institutional brokers. Most of my buddies in that area have been through 12 step programs for either drugs or alcohol. I think it is more common for transactional brokers than for the guys who send off the money to money managers to lose and don't know that the market is down.
