Oracle - mature mkt, no significant corp spending avail. Mailaise continues, at best.

Sun Microsystems - advancements in alternative technologies are badly hurting this co

Cisco - survivor in a tough racket

Nortel - deadmeat; sell while it still trades.

Lucent - deadmeat; sell while it still trades.

JDS Uniphase - will survive as a small co in a tough racket

Corning - will survive as a small co in a tough racket

Nokia - avoid; make a note to check back on NOK in a year

Qualcomm - avoid; make a note to check back on QCOM in 6 mos

WorldCom - deadmeat; sell while it still trades.

I do think we're making a bottom here. Just from a contrarian point of view. Everyone is suddenly bearish and talking about NAZ 1,400 and buying puts. There are many people actually talking about a NAZ below 1,000, not likely IMO. Just like the extreme bullishness in 2000 marked a top. The extreme bearishness now probably marks a bottom.
