Well you see, I did research on my own, and the demand picture for silver looked poor. I said so on the drilling II thread (not in the most tactful way), and about 4 guys gave me hell and told me to go to the silver thread where they would explain the bull case to me.

Here are the pros and cons as I see them:

PRO:
-consumption exceeds production
-miners' cost is below current price
-US$ falling
-increasing interest in precious metals
-multi-year silver chart looks like it may be basing

CON:
-falling demand
-price not moving up

Right now I can't make up my mind. Some people claim silver demand is not falling, but I haven't seen evidence to back that up, hence my question.

In October of 2000 gold was trading at $265/ounce and silver was trading at $4.80/ounce. Gold closed at $312 last Friday, while silver closed at $4.60...it seems to me that certain big name silver stocks HAVE already done what the unhedged big name gold stocks have done...I congratulate all holders who held out longer than I but i think the above stats should give some pause for thought...

It is clear that silver is an important ingredient in digital prints.
Most digital reproductions are done on silver paper as it gives you a photo quality print. Any thing else is just paper;; magazine quality only.
