One of the biggest problems for the Aussies, is they love their imports. It causes all kinds of balance of trade problems. In the past the Govt. taxed imports in order to control the problem. The people would not stand for it. My banker friend says it's still a problem. I have friends come here and they take home cars and all kinds of stuff. The Aussie has a socialist bent, like the English, French etc. They want the good life with out the pain of working hard and saving for it. This, bye and bye, causes them problems, and than they get their act together, and the cycle starts over again. Just my view Good Luck ed
