Dan3 - Ok, tell me how AMD is delivering samples of SOI chips to customers without having an SOI process to produce them.

AMD must have a handful of working parts. Just think - they may have had to process 2000 wafers per week for the past 2 quarters to get these devices.
Do you think any major OEM is going to commit to that until they see tens of thousands of these SOI products?
And that is why they are only sampling.
AMD does keep talking of further slippages - just ask fyodor.
