It's hard to fight the downtrend, especially now that everyone is turning bearish (sometimes that's the best time to go against the trend though).

In the late 1990s, everyone seemed bullish and the market shot up so much higher. Now this turning bearish may be bad news for the market..cash outflows can be huge if individuals start pulling out of the market. It could lead to a capitulation but how further down do we go before that happens. Expecting the Nasdaq to pick up steam to the downside...believe it or not, i think last week was orderly.
