You may be right - however, they have a ton of cash
and (big IF) IF the economy picks up, they, IMHO be once
again the big boy on the block. Who is going to
unseat them in the large enterprise arena? Certainly not MSFT, IBM with its DB2 product - not hardly, SYBASE - no,
SEBL - don't think so.
ORCL is going into direct competition with several LARGE players in the college and university market
- web enabled services on the student
side, billing rec. systems, registration, stats, tuition
calculation (with business rules/objects etc...)
Believe me, this is a HUGE market... and I'm happy
that I am now retired from info. tech. and don't have
to deal with system changes anymore!

I did miss the boat on ORCL's low - bought @ $11, may
pick up more @ 8. + change... Larry E. must be a real
SOB!
